12 tags of 2014 - January

A new year a new beginning... that's what they say isn't it??
I'm here to start my new year off with a little inkiness..

Lets hope that it means I'm a bit better with my blogging..

What better way to start off my year of creativeness than with Tim's  12 tags of 2014 -

I did something a little different with my pocket watch for my tag...

I ended up using one of Tim's Idea ology Pocket watch's that I had dropped on the floor and smashed the glass in. . I thought it would be perfect to add to the tag.

this is how I made the pocket watch on my tag.  As i said I had dropped it on the floor and the glass in the front had smashed, so I took it out, so I had the watch with no glass.. I then used Tim's embossing folder. the one with the  pocket  watches all over it  ( pocket watch and steampunk texture fades set).. and embossed a piece of cardstock that I had covered in metal foil sheets..   I cut out one of the clock faces.. I just held the front of the pocket watch over each clock face on my embossed cardstock till I found one that fit. Added in a bit of idea ology foliage , gears, and washer. then stuck in to the inside of the top piece of the pocket watch..

I  also added in few other bits and die cut elements..

And this is my finished tag..

Thanks so much for stopping by,
hope to see you again soon xxx.
