Whimsical End?

Happy Wednesday! Hope you are all having a wonderful week?

Its a bit chilly here today, it seems as though winter has finally decided to arrive in the southern hemisphere..

 

Today I have the tag I started working on in my last post to share with you. I've used lots of my new and old faves from Viva Las VegaStamps! on this one..

 

 

I started off by stamping images on some scraps of Nature Walk  papers from 7 Dots Studio. This paper is seriously gorgeous! I also cut my tag base out of the reverse side of Musical Blooms from the Nature Walk range.

 

I began cutting and layering my stamped images, cotton thread and some Finnabair Mechanicals and UmWow Studio Confetti... had a bit of a play around.... I then stuck my stamped images and some of the embellishments down. Some of them are juts stuck down with double sided tape, others I used small foam squares to add a bit of dimension.  Then decided that i'd sew around the edges of my tag.. for a minute there I didn't think I was going to , but it just didn't seem finished.   Played with a few more bit and pieces, added in my chipboard and a couple of little stamped strips..

 

And this was my end result..

Feed your Soul

 Howdy everyone! hope you are having a wonderful week, It's been a perfect couple of days here for creating-  a public holiday and a rainy day - see, I told you perfect!, so I thought I'd take the time to do some creating again, just because.

 

 This is what my desk looked like while I was creating,

 

 

 how can one little tag make so much mess!!

 

This is what the end result looks like..

 

 

I absolutely adore the Nature Walk line from 7Dots Studio, The colours and design elements in this line are just so me! I've used it as my tag base, as well as cutting the dragonfly out of one of the die cut tag elements and adding in one of the phrase stickers..

 

I've also added in a few Prima embellishments -  Finnabair  mechanicals - love these too!! and some crystals and a clock hand.

 

 

 

and finished it off with of course some of my favourite UmWow Studio Star Connfetti, thread and machine stitching and a Tim Holtz metal corner. I absolutely love how this  tag has turned out, I'd love to know what you think..

UmWow Sketch time..

Hi guys, I cant believe that half of the year is nearly over already!

 

A new month means, you guessed it, another month of new challenges,  Today I have my tag I've done using the sketch over at UmWow Studio

 

 

I loved this sketch the minute I saw it, and had an idea of what I wanted to do straight away.

 

 If you haven't already been over and checked out the gorgeous ranger of chipboard available at UmWow Studio, you really should do yourself a favour, they are awesome! and such a pleasure to play with!

 

I've used the sketch elements pretty much the same way as they are here. so without to much more babbling from me, I'll show you my tag..

I absolutely love this small doily, from the doilies set.

 

And you can never have to much circle confetti!!

VLVS! Inspiration Board..

Howdy Everyone, Hope you are having a wonderful week. I have my VLVS! May Inspiration Board Challenge tag to share with you today. I  love this board, because I love the VLVS! Whimsical Elephant stamp!

 

 

I've had this stamp since it came out, so I knew I had to use it for my tag. Along with the elephant, I also used the script, circles, butterflies,  teal blue and stitching as my inspiration for my tag.

Viva Las VegaStamps! DT Tryout

I can't believe it's Viva Las VegaStamps! Dt application time again..

 

 

 

 

This post is to showcase some of my tags that I've done with VLVS! images, and to apply to become a member of their  wonderful design team and be a part of the VLVS! family..

 

 

Here are three of my most recent tags., these ones are a little more embellished. I have used a few different VLVS! images.. from the Coffee Ring Stain and {with love} to the 1787 grunge writing  and some of the awesome new Banksy Images - Gas mask flower girl and the waybill/invoice.


This tag is brand new, I only received these stamps yesterday ( Friday ) and had to have a play last night....  I think she could very quickly become a fave!!

 

 And now i'm going to be cheeky and add in three of my older , but still  favourites - Do you know how hard it was to only try and pick 3??

 

I just adore this sunflowers stamp!

 

And this cute little guy, was the very first VLVS! stamp I bought and used..
