August 12 tags of 2014.. inspired..

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all doing well..
Today I've got my version of Tim Holtz's - August 12 tags of 2014 to share with you..

I absolutely LOVE this months tag!

DSC00622

As soon as I saw this tag, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.. I've strayed a little this month, and used some stamps from Viva Las VegaStamps!, instead of my Tim Holtz ones. For me as soon as I saw this tag I knew that I had to use these stamps,

I've followed most of the background technique, though I've not used texture paste with my stencil, instead I've opted again to go a little different and just used  darker distress inks. ( I've used  walnut stain and pumice stone.) I've also added in some Remnant Rubs as well as my pieces of idea-ology.

So without to much more babbling.. Here is my tag.. I absolutely love it!!

The Stamps I've used - Businessman silhouette and Big Ben are just a match made in heaven.. well in my eyes anyway :)

and of course I can't go past sharing a few close ups of all the inky, stamped layered goodness!!
